Collaborating with the client and agency, we re-established XXXLutz’s powerful sonic identity and applied the musical leitmotif to their long-running campaign of TV commercials.

The process started with the brand’s memorable audio logo. We then composed questions that always led back to the audio logo as the answer. Integrating key notes and phrases from the leitmotif into the sonic framework, we added emotional power to each story. The audio logo was re-stated at the end of each commercial in the same style as the film music.
Over the last five years this approach has been used to score music for more than 40 product and brand TV commercials, along with over 5,000 radio spots each year. From 2020 to 2022, this approach is being used in a testimonial campaign starring actor Mathias Schweighöfer. This ongoing campaign features three phases with 5-8 films in each.
In 2021 we began another collaboration with the client to create a new approach and standards. This is at the heart of the brand’s continually evolving sonic eco-system while staying in tune with its sonic roots, maintaining the emotional feeling and connection with the audience.
