Working with the Chief Marketing Officer for Germany, we had helped McDonald’s rediscover its inner voice, restating the brand’s instantly recognisable sonic ID and bringing a new depth of feeling to communications. The client then asked us to apply the brand’s new audio style guide to apply this thinking to commercials.

PROOF IN EVERY BITE

We composed music for over 15 commercials that let us build on the broadest interpretive spectrum of the sonic identity. Working with the lead agencies, acclaimed TVC directors and leading production houses, we explored many different genres, from rock’n’roll to tarantella and traditional Bavarian music that also restored the original full-length motif. The combination of strategy, artistry and brand guardianship helped bring the unique taste of McDonald’s to life.

The result? A happy client and commercials that featured more consistent, emotional and impactful storytelling. Combined with the familiar ‘I’m lovin’ it’ motif, audiences were reminded them of how McDonald’s made them feel.
